Originally from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, I’ve carried my love for community and connection into every chapter of my life, and I’m now embarking on the exciting next step of my journey.

Managed content creation and social media strategy for the official LinkedIn and Instagram accounts of the Marketing Department at the Robins School of Business. I manage a small team of student videographers, overseeing the setup and operation of video equipment to ensure seamless coverage of over 50 home and away events for Football, Lacrosse, Basketball, and Field Hockey. I worked as an ice cream scooper and barista at a beloved local shop renowned for its award-winning ice cream. I joined the team during an exciting period of growth as they expanded to include a coffee shop, where I played a key role in the original setup and organization of operations. In addition to my duties of crafting delicious ice cream and coffee creations, I also took on a leadership role, overseeing younger team members to ensure they delivered the highest level of customer service and quality. My experience here taught me the importance of maintaining consistency in a high-quality product, effective teamwork, and leading by example to foster a positive work environment that prioritizes both customer satisfaction and team success.
At a charming vintage shop, I took on a multifaceted role focused on organization, pricing, and promoting unique items to a wider audience. I was actively involved in streamlining the process of moving products from estate collections to the shop, as well as organizing auctions for special items. My contributions included managing the store’s online presence, ensuring a consistent flow of new inventory, and creating engaging seasonal displays that increased sales. I also worked directly with customers to provide personalized service and highlight the history and charm of each piece. From the early days of the shop’s creation, I played a key role in helping it gain traction both online and within the local community, establishing a solid foundation for future growth. This experience enhanced my skills in retail organization, customer relations, and creative merchandising.
As a Level 1 Certified US Sailing Instructor, I worked teaching children aged 7-14 the fundamentals of sailing and racing, with a focus on skill development and sportsmanship. I created and organized engaging lesson plans tailored to various skill levels, fostering a competitive yet supportive environment. My dedication and teaching approach culminated in the opportunity to coach a group of Green Fleeters during my final year, where I successfully guided older sailors toward improved racing techniques and sportsmanship, resulting in more medal wins. Coaching Optis allowed me to refine my ability to inspire confidence, build teamwork, and instill a passion for sailing. My efforts were recognized when I was honored with the Coach of the Year award in 2023, a testament to my commitment to helping young sailors achieve their potential both on and off the water.
As a Level 1 Snowboard Instructor, I taught individuals of all ages the foundational skills needed to snowboard confidently and safely. My teaching approach was highly adaptive, ensuring that each lesson met the unique needs and abilities of my students. I also had the rewarding experience of coaching a small group of kids aged 8-12 who met weekly throughout an entire season. Watching their growth, from mastering bunny hills to tackling black diamond runs, was a highlight of my role. I prioritized creating a fun and interactive learning environment, encouraging both boys and girls to stay engaged and enjoy the process.
